Unite for Change is a 501(c)3 nonprofit entity whose mission is to identify and coordinate effective resource allocation, stakeholders, institutions, associations and other organizations to address community-wide issues impacting family stability, public health and public safety while providing opportunities for socio-economic mobility.
What is the UN-Conference?
UniteForChange.org initiative hosts annual empowerment events called the “Urban Servant Leadership Un-Conference." This year's virtual gathering will include a series of in-depth, knowledge-sharing activities designed to educate, inspire and empower current and emerging leaders in under-resourced urban centers. Due to the recent death of George Floyd and the protests against inequity and injustice that followed, this year's un-conference is more important than ever.
The next Urban Servant Leadership Un-Conference will take place in a hybrid format in 2023 from Indianapolis, Indiana. The UniteForChange.org initiative has as one of its goals to bring together the various community demands and agendas to expose plan gaps and overlaps better. This year's urban leadership development un-conference will bring together community leaders who understand the urban context and are committed to networking and engaging the community to cultivate positive change and the eradication of systemic racism and injustice.
